Thought I'd share this here - my first kit back from the casters - a 28-35mm scale Spartan Shield, Spear and Lakonian shortsword and scabbard.
This is exactly the same design spear I used on the Sanguinary Phalanx commission (just without the purity seals).

Cast in a fairly flexible resin, the spear staff has quite a bit of flex to it (even when painted) so it shouldn't snap so long as it's kept / transported sensibly. Alternatively you could simply cut the pieces off the shaft and use a brass rod.

I'm still trying to work out a price for the set, but it's likely to be something like £3.50 including postage from ebay or a bit cheaper from me directly. Now I guess I need to get my webshop sorted. :-(
