I doubt anyone remembers me, but I used to hang out here a fair bit 7-8 years ago. Anyway, I haven't looked at 40k since about '07 - '08 until a friend started egging me on for us to start playing again this summer. Wow, what a shock at all the new toys, Shadow Spectres and a warp hunter, new eldar SH grav tanks? drool. decent looking dark eldar? someone forgot to pay the furnace bill looks like, cause I thought hell would freeze over before they were resurrected. I was never much of a painter til right at the very end, but some of it makes me want to paint again.

At this point, i don't even remember what all I had so I pulled out some boxes and to my shock I find I still have a totally unassembled, raw armorcast phantom titan. I had thought I'd sold all my super heavy's, but guess not. there was a guy casting alternate parts back then, so i had picked up the alternate head, shoulder pad and power fist. So, is one of these worth anything now that FW released their own? even if we start playing again, I don't see it ever being built and it might offset some new toys, but I don't even know where to start pricing it now that forgeworld has one. I hate to just stick it on ebay.

I would say a healthy $350 - $400

I do prefer how the old one looks as well :3

I paid 300£ + shipping for my armorcast phantom on ebay.co.uk.

It didnt include the extra head or powerfist though.

Yeah, thats a nice toy. Someone will be willing to pay for that.

I'd list it with a starting price of $300 and let it ride from there. It could go up quite abit.

not a big fan of selling on ebay, so am debating if I do that or just offer it here with the possibility of trades for wants/needs+cash when I decide what they are. It will probably go ebay or cash though just because I know the forgeworld I really want isn't going to be easy (shadow spectres, warp hunter, maybe corsairs and hunters). I appreciate the help guys.

I'd say it not worth anything. However, because I like you, I'll take it off your hands for 20 bucks.

In all honesty, start at 300$ on an Ebay auction, or put it up for trade on DakkaDakka.

Moving flat out..

I'd concur with the $300 starting price (you should be able to get more) - it's what I paid for mine two years ago, but I didn't get the Warlock head (very cool) or the titan power fist.

Yeah, the head and the fist look like they were made at a separate time than the rest of the body, judging by the resin.

Maybe it was a custom cast or a reprint on the head and arm.

they were. When I got it, 05,06 ish? there was a guy who was doing a small amount of recasting of oop parts for it, so I picked up the head, ornate pauldron and fist then, thinking options would be good. They are very good recasts, are actually in some ways cleaner than the armorcast. He would not do a complete titan, only the warlock head, pauldron and weapons.

Having the box makes it worth more to collectors, as the number of recast Armorcast titans might be higher than the number of legit ones. Players won't care much, but make sure to note that it's got the original box.
