I've never actually thought about this till now, but suppose at some point someone would rather play another system of 15mm WW2 but already owns a substantial FoW army. What other games are out there that the base sized are compatible with?

I believe Blitzkrieg Commander can be played with FoW minis/bases.

I might be attending a game of Combat Action Command this weekend, which also apparently can be used with FoW basing.

You should also be able to play Command Decision with minis based for Flames of War.

Zvezda's Barbarossa I presume. At least, if their vehicles are compatible with FoW, it should be vice versa as well.

Looking to trade away 15mm Forged in Battle Pumas (still in the box).

I thought Zvesda's Barbarossa was hexagon based?

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Yes it is. But the OP was asking about base style, so vehicles without bases should fit pretty well. And if 1/72 Zvezda's infantry and artillery fits on the hex, the medium infantry base should as well.

Someone could make good money from a 15mm WWII 'simulation' that was compatable with Battlefront sized bases.

Does Command Decision not count?

Aren't single bases platoons or companies in Command Decision? I may be thinking of something else.

Yes, I believe that one base is equal to one platoon in Command Decision. I don't see why that would stop someone from playing CD with FOW based minis though. If anything, someone with a FOW army should already have plenty of options to work with for a CD army.
