So as Brettonia re in need of a heavy revamp and the only reson i play if for the mass number of knights i thought id go for a ride with 2 different version of a similar army one as good old brettonia and the other from the Empire book.

Both are 2k and i would love some feedback please guys

Oddly enough nothing besides the fact that you have to use the charmed shield price out of your book not the BRB.

Just mainly wanted to look at your fantastic avatar.

How are you planning on running the characters in the bret list? Everyone in one unit or all spread out

Well the Empire list needs alot more core and I think the Bret list will perform better.

I think Bretonnia does the completely all cavalry list better than Empire. But what a lot of people see as Bretonnia's weakness is the support units in addition to the Knights. And in that case, Empire has a LOT of MUCH better support units. Hell, Halberdiers are strictly better than Man at Arms if I remember right. But you have to use the support, otherwise why ditch the lance formation? So, if ya wanna do Empire, grab some cannons, a Hellblaster, and some anvil blocks of State Troops. You already have the Warrior Priests, which is good.

Another thing. One thing that Empire DOES do better than Bretonnia Cavalry wise is Great Weapons will still have a 2+ armor save. It DOES help Knights be better in long, drag out fights. Maybe something to consider....

Well i only want knights but i thought to match them up...brettonia only have thr 5+ward that makes them much differe.t so i gave the empire the extra strength and the razor standard to help them finish combats quicker that DO go on an extra round or two

Don't have my rulebook with me, but I don't think you can get a parry save while mounted.

You definitely don't get one while using a magical shield though, sorry :(

For the empire army:

I would take GW's on some units and lances on the others and try and use your speed advantage to pick the fights they each excel at. I'm also not sure how that wizard is going to stay alive.

Brets wardsave comes from their blessing not a parry save
