Dreamland torment is a new game im working on, it has a bit of a stretch,
Basically you can solo play or play with a group of people.
The story-line in a nutshell is a kid found a way to get his nightmares into the real world to take it over,
Thats where the kids you play as come in, its there job to make sure these nightmares dont live.
So when you play there is a campaign system to it meaning you level up your character gain new attacks,skills etc.
Also there is a loot system and npc system also allowing you to play solo.
it may be a good idea to make a storyline for your kid to fit the campaign better.
since you play as a kid you use imagination alot, this allows you to do all kinds of things, like i said above about making a storyling for your character i have a kid model who looks like a jedi from star wars so you will use his imagination at times with his plastic lightsaber and make it real or his imagination to do things like force joke all kinds of things that jedis do. You may have a kid who wants to be superhero so he may do things that superheros do.

Im still working out alot of things but if anyone is interested in helping id be more then glad to fill you in on things and keep you up to date.
