What happens if there are two Imhoteks and one player uses a solar pulse? Is Lord of the Storm cancelled for both players?

This is one of those cases where I think INAT answers best, however, YMMV. ◊NEC.55F.06 – Q: If opposing armies both contain Imotekh, how is the decision to continue or end Night Fighting made? A: Either player may attempt to continue Night Fighting and only if both players either choose to not continue it or fail their roll to continue does the Night Fighting (and the corresponding lighting strikes) actually end [clarification].

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Having played out this scenario:
Its NASTY!
Nightfight went to turn 6 (end of game) with the help of a chronotek each.
Solar pulse negated any lightning strikes during THAT player turn.
BOTH players dropped bolts EACH turn.

I/m not talking about that, I'n talking about solar pulse. From my current understanding one solar pulse would end nightfight and LOTS for both.

Solar pulse only effects the player turn. In a normal Nightfight without Imotekh, Player 1 (The Necron Player) could use the Solar Pulse on his turn, and the nightfight rules return to play for Player 2's turn.
The only stipulation in LotS is when choosing to activate the Solar pulse when the Night Fight rules have ended, bringing the Night Fight rules into play by using the Solar Pulse does not generate lightning.

So, with LOTS activated could I roll to see if it continued, fire a solar pulse, and then night fight returns on the next player turn (but I'd miss the lightening cause it wouldn't be night fight on the shooting phase).

Correct. However, the lightning strikes are so valuable, it would be a waste to put them off for a turn, and then why take Imotekh?
