I am participating in a double's tournament next month and as a complex tournament we need to write background stories, explaining why our armies are working together.
My team is taking GK and Orks.
Not the easiest of stories to write, and I seriously would like to deviate from the standart "We were both competing for an artifact and then Chaos came, with tyranids on top!"

As a tentative approach, I was trying to get an interspecies romance going on, with lots of cheesy moments.
This was a bit rushed, as it is just a blueprint to work on - I appologize in advance for any mistakes as english is not my first language.

It would also allow for some interesting conversions, as we also need to provide objective markers based on the background.

Any tips, ideas, suggestions are extremely welcome.

########################################

An Inquisitorial Valkyrie finished its descend over planet Mareth IV.
What was once a agriworld, a supplier for the Imperium of Man, soon lost his verdant touch and had its luxuriant green tones replaced by the raging shades of ever-multiplying Orks.
Inside the landing ship, protected by his golden terminator armor was Inquisitor Ramos. The Inquisition forces were known to be almost as harsh on its members as with the anathemas they fought, but even so Ramoswas an handsome man, with chiseled features, perfect abs and deep penetrating blue eyes that could make a Deamon Prince cry.
Some would say this was its greatest asset, but those jealous individuals were mainly envious of its skill in detecting even the best concealed corruption.

This was not his first commission as an official of the Ordo Malleus, he always felt dizzy before a new mission. Two squads of Grey Knights had been dispatched before-hand to check an anomaly detected by the Order’s prognosticars. Beside this anomaly, his main order was a riddle: “The unknown is the key, protect it no matter what”.
According to the latest reports Marretah, supposed to be a planet filled with raging brute life, was but a barren wasteland covered with decaying corpses of the green thugs. Broken bodies of the massive meganobs layed in racks and the usual signs for Chaos-worshipping were everywhere. If they weren’t filthy Xenos, one could almost feel pity for their agony. Nevertheless no contact with the responsible chaos forces was established, which left the inquisitorial forces on its toes expecting an ambush. Only an insanely big chaos force would be able to lay waste to such a big ork colony. Something of major importance must ha
As soon as Ramoswas allowed to disembark, his helmet communicator buzzed to life. “This is Justicar Panask from squad Bitoch, mylord. I think we have found something you need to see.”
“What now? More corpses? Any new form of chaos savagery? I have seen it all justicar…”
“We found a live one, Inquisitor”
“Put it out of its misery, Justicar. My time is far too valuable to waste on such petty endeavours…”
“You don’t understand, sir. This one has lady bits”
“What? Have they been gnawing on the local populace? Human-eating Orks?”
“No, Sir! It HAS lady-bits!”

Orks were known to be a “male-only” species. To find an Ork with female characteristics was unthinkable and never reported. Silently suspecting a corruption of Slaanesh, the God of Luxury, Ramos arrived in the hut refered by Panask.
Inside, in its center, a kneeled being covered by a blanket waited silently. All around the hut, a Strike Squad waited, all of them weapons ready and with their wrist-mounted stormbolters carefully aimed at the prisioner. Ramos knew you always have to be cunning when dealing with Chaos. Even though his accute senses, enhanced by his psyker power could not detect any corruption, he stood on his guard. He had to gain the thrust of whatever they have found. Overconfidence was usually the path to recklessness, even when dealing with Gods.
“Please leave us!” “Are you sure, sir?” asked Panask. The inquisitor nodded.
After the last knight left the wooden hut, Ramos circled the room until he was facing the shivering form under the blanket. “Please uncover yourself and tell me why are you the sole survivor of whatever happened here!” He shouted with an imposing voice known to turn the most rebel into a willing servitor. The blanket fell.
She was green as most Orks, but her features were distinctly feminine. Ramos originally from planet Xavask II, a matriarcal society, was used to women with imposing phisiques, but nothing like this. Her broad shoulders, her almost non-existent body-fat made her a vision to be seen. Her facial features were different to the usual ork, appart from a slightly longer canines in a protruding lower, she could almost pass by a human. A green-human, but a human still! A beam of light entering from the broken ceiling played tricks on her supple breasts. “What are you?” asked Ramos completely surprised by the looks. Something he never felt before was making his bulky armor feel smaller than it should.
“Orks haz sayings! Big weapon, large shaft!” She said while slowly licking her blueish soft lips while eyeing Ramos’ Daemonhammer. Ramos blushed with the implyed double-entendre. He had to resist! Xenos are unclean, but why couldn’t he think of anything else than green-ish dirty thoughts? Trying to compose himself and take hold of the situation he asked: “What happened here?” “Thiz big fings of horror came frum hole in sky! It Kill EveryTing! They kould not enter hut! Pegah make dem go away!” “Pegah, that’s a beautiful name!” he said while stretching his back sensually, forgetting for a moment his composure while at service of the Emperor. Embarassed and trying to overcompensate he shouted “Tell me more, or I will smite right there where you stand!”

“I wud love for you to hammer me until I WAAGGH!, but me affraid we not alone anymore… Dey are kuming bak fur me”
As she finished her sentence, a warp gate opened and all hell broke loose. Ramos, even though used to be severedly outnumbered was completely lost with the sheer number of daemons vomited from the warp.
“Dunt let dem take Pegah!” she sobbed.
“They are so many…” he said completely oblivious of what to do to stop the sheer magnitude of the oncoming assault.
“ But wis not alone! Me has friends still!” and with this Pegah roared in an unknown language. A roar as feminin and sensual as a roar can be. At the distance some other simillar calls could be heard and soon enough a battered yet still fierce mob of Orks surrounded the camp, much to the unease of the guarding Grey Knights on the outside. After making sure no aggression would break between these unusual allies, Ramos gave his forces their new orders – to protect Pegah, as such an item so important in Chaos agenda could only be of fulcral importance to the Imperium of Man. She would need to be protected and extracted to Mimas’ Ordo Malleus base no matter what, and trusting no-one as Chaos could be anywhere. His own personal agenda for Pegah, he kept for himself.
“Stay back mylady – allow me to shield you!” He said, much to the consternation of the knights in hearing-distance.
“Kum bak quikly, love! And bring dat big hammer ov yurs!”, she said winking back.

In the belly of the whale.

This so heretical, that summary execution isn't nearly enough for you.

In all seriousness, brilliant concept.

Ultra-heresy detected. Doesn't make it any less awesome though.

It reads like a pitch for 'Carry on up the Imperium'. Which is a good thing, of course.

Best line: 'You don't understand, sir. This one has lady bits.'

Hope the tourney goes as well as the fluff!

Extra heresy indeed.

The story was good fun. Even with your description, I could only imagine a Nob with lipstick and eye shadow on speaking with a high voice. "hammer me until I WAAGGH!" The volume change I heard in my head made me laugh way too hard.
