This is two of the upcoming five Modular elites. The heads, shields, and hands with weapons are universally interchangeable. There are 6 weapon variants ( 1 flanged mace, 2 Swords, 2 axes, 1 hammer ) 12 head variants ( open faced and closed face helms ), and five shield variants. There will be more weapon, head, and shield variants added over time.

I am trying to decide whether or not to send what I have now in to the mouldmaker or wait to get their champion finished to go along with them.... the Champ is close but still needs hand fittings ( he is a dual wielder. )..... or maybe I should make these potential dual wielders also??

Need to see these next to some GW figs for comparison. RBG figs have always been on the small side. Like these a lot more than the Avatar of War ones. Feel more brutal and less cartoony.

Now, if only we can get the rest of the 3rd party sculpters to step up their game.

I'm not normally a fan of big armoured spikey* evil dudes, but these are nice. The second one is particularly excellent. It manages to exude an understated menace. Whereas other spikey evil dudes would point and scream, he just casually stomps over and chops off your leg. Because he has things to do and people to kill. He doesn't have time to pose for the camera.

*as opposed to horny evil goat dudes

Look of the Cavalry...... a little bit less " fully armoured " woudl be more apt.

Scale...... well these guys are scaled to fit with RBG minis FIRST, however, the HelsVakt are intended to be bigger than normal humans and are sculpted as such. Teh unched over model is 30mm tall ot the top of his shoulders. Add the head and he is 32 -33mm tall. The full up right guy is 32mm to the shoulder. Add his head and he is 35 mm tall.

It will be close to the end of the summer by the time ALL of the HelsVAkt expansion are available but we are talking:

Cavalry
new Modular hordesmen
Elites
a few special characters
berserkers
shield maidens
archer / rangers

Of this these elites will be first up, followed by the new modulars and the cavalry by late may early June. After that the shield maidens should be along with the archers and berserkers in July and then in August SHOULD be the last of the Characters.

Will they be...bloodthirsty shield maidens?

This is all terrible news for my bank account. Confrontation Drunes have ignited a love for evil, vaguely nordic/celtic barbarians and you are not helping at all!
Can the Archers at least just be blobs of playdo with feathers stuck in them? That would save me some money.

There are some very top tier sculptors out there already; it seems this studio is prepared to join them.

Wait and release them all at the same time with all weapon options!
