I just noticed this morning the developing picture since Jan on the spine of WD, of what appears to be a Dark Angel. Wandering whether there was some meaning to it or if WD was just bieng arty i came on here looking for rumours, and found a load of DA rumour threads. So are we looking at a new codex or just an inclusion in the new boxed game? seems a little limiting to have chapter specific models in a starter pack.

Rumours(!) claim that DA will be in the new 6th Edition starter box. By implication, they are most likely the "first" 6th Edition loyalist Codex either as Codex: Dark Angels or as Codex Space Marines with Dark Angels taking the "spot" of the Ultramarines for a bit.

No rumour round-up or summary for DA rumours really on Dakka. The current threat is a mess with stuff (and lots of wishlisting) randomly spread over 20+ pages. I couldn't find the stuff in there in less than an hour and I've been following the threat for the last couple of months. Can't blame people for starting new questions or posts with every new piece of info if Dakka makes it a point to hide the "official" stuff as much as possible. It's the "Dark Angels titbit" thread that should go (or be cleaned up) IMO.

We can't blame them, but we can direct them to the existing thread that has the continuing discussion on the topic in question:
