Does anyone have any specific tactics to counter Necrons using Tyranids, or any specific method of taking out Trazyn without accruing large amounts of wounds?

You beat Trazyn on Initiative. If you kill him before he has a chance to swing, you don't take anything.
Make Necrons run. Do enough wounds to force them to flee, then chop them down.
Tie up Wraiths with something (or fire a billion S4 shots into them) or they will murder all of your Monstrous Creatures.
Don't go too long-range against them or they'll ruin your day with Night Fighting.

I was considering using Deathleaper to take on Trazyn, deploying basically right behind him and firing flesh-hooks, then assaulting the next turn.
Would the Doom of Malan'tai do much?

Deathleaper might work, but he's too expensive for what he does imho. I'd recommend Genestealers with a Broodlord, cast Transfixing Gaze on him and cast Catalyst on the Stealers.

The Doom might work, but 'pod him in.
Deathleaper will just get shot.
Andilus has a good idea there. Automatically Appended Next Post: Incidentally, if you hit Trazyn with an Adrenaled-up Carnifex, he dies. The 'fex even strikes first if he charges, and with double-scythes chances are he'll hit.
Will kill him once, anyway. Hopefully you won't have to do it too many times.

Toxic genestealers with FNP.
Sorry, necron player.
Oddly, 3 biovores do very well against necrons.
Any models that can take acid blood should. Broodlord especially. Passing initiative test on I2 is hard.
also, devourer gants in a pod. Shame him.
