i have been making up my squad of lootas and i am wondering if the mek and killa kans and deff dreads are better with kustom mega blasters than big shootas

Personally I find Big Shootas to be more effective due to the Orks' inability to hit with the KMB. Also, I wouldn't take a mek with your lootas in the first place, but that's just my preference.

As for the Kans, I've seen Grotzookas have more success than any other option they have.

the box only comes with 4 deffguns so that is why i have a mek. also, thank you for the advice

Make your own deffgun. You just need to glue a bunch of guns together and you're good. That's what Orks are all about.

Meks w/ lootas are a waste of points and big nothing to the lootas. Brother SRM is right. Make your own if needed.

I personally go with KMBs on my Kans due to the heavy terminator spam in my local metagame (Draigowing, Loganwing, Deathwing, etc...). Big bonus is that the Gets Hot! rule does not apply to walkers since they are considered vehicles.

The only gun on a DeffDread should be a Skorcha. The low BS on the Dread makes any other guns a waste of points.
