Subject: Nobz as troops?

I'm trying to figure out something and I could use some help. I have a warboss and he allows my nobz to be troops, but if the warboss is killed through the course of a game do the nobz still count as troops or revert back to being elites?

Remember though, the Nobz use a Troop slot on the FOC, so, if the Warboss dies, they are still a Troop choice.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

As pointed out, they will remain troops.
The effect of the Warboss is for organizing your army list. A non-vehicle unit that is organized into a troops slot in list creation, will always count as a troop unit.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
