I've been using their spray kans for a while now and really like them, but now I'd like to pick up a few of the matching warpaints and was wondering if anyone had tried them yet?

I will never ever touch army painter stuff again after using their bone color undercoat. It is really really bad(could have been the temperature). So no I prefer valejo and gw.

Warpaints? What a dumb, dumb dumb and stupid name. For that reason alone I will never try them. (Also, their primer/basecoat spray was not to my liking).

Hum. Strangely, I've used a couple of their spray primers (The Daemonic Yellow is great!) and never had a single problem.

I'm surprised that in this hobby, that "Warpaint" offends you so much.

I use their primers and brushes. I have pretty good luck. I had one brush that was bad from the start (split in the ferul) and they replaced it for me right away).

I'm interested in these too, now that GW have left me looking for equivalents to Scab Red and Boltgun Metal (I'll give Khorne Red and Leadbelcher a try but I've hear they are noticeably different).

I found this pretty detailed review http://taleofpainters.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/review-army-painter-warpaints.html

The release has been pushed back a bit though as detailed here: http://geekcentricity.com/2012/03/press-release-the-army-painter-warpaints-release-delayed.html

You'll get them in the US before we do accross the pond, though.

The first article with the paint comparisons of the Warpaints versus the GW range, wow, they're like an exact match!

Yeah, I really have enjoyed the Daemonic Yellow on my Bad Moonz Kans, and boyz. No need to invest in a airbrush kit. I've also had great success using the Dragon Red on my Evil Sunz BattleWagons and Trukks.
I've been mixing up Citadel paints to match them for touch ups and details, but I'd much rather use an "exact match" to avoid the variations in the color when I mix.
Hopefully they are acceptable when they release individually. I'm certainly not taking the risk on the mega set.
