On page 49 of the GK codex, it states that most Death Cult Assassins are devoted to Khorne. Does anyone else think that this is a spoiler for a World Eaters choice in the upcoming Chaos Legions codex?

You're misreading the entry.

"Death Cults can be found on many Imperial worlds. Though many are Chaos-spawned and lend servitude only to Khorne the Blood God, others are fanatically dedicated to the Imperial Creed and offer up those they slay to the Emperor--a payment of the blood-debt Mankind owes him."

Death Cults are a huge category. A lot of them, in fact, ARE Chaos cults. They are not necessarily the Death Cult Assassins that an Inquisitor might recruit.

You read it wrong, it says that MANY (which does NOT mean most) lend servitude only to Khorne, others are fanatically loyal to the emperor.

In any case, I dont see how you can draw that conclusion, World Eaters are Chaos Space Marines, not cultists, and to the best of my ability any suggestion that cultists are being included in the supposedly forthcoming Chaos Legions book is simply fan conjecture. Besides that, death cultists does not equal death cult assassin.

It's possible for there to be Death Cultists; but they likely will not be Death Cult Assassins.

The Moritat, for example, are a Death Cult, for whom their assassins (the Moritat Reapers) spill blood in the Emperor's name, following a very violent interpretation of the Imperial Creed. The spilling of blood is viewed as a sacred rite to them... which must make them real popular with the janitorial staff come Monday morning.
