Right then, I have been reading practically every article and army list that I can find relevant to Tomb Kings in these forums and have decided that I would like to run the following at 1k.
Liche Priest - 110
Level 2, Dragonbane Gem
Archers - 70
10, Mus, (LP Here)
Chariots - 360 *
6, Mus, Std, BoEF
Warsphinx - 230
Fiery Breath
Warsphinx - 230
Fiery Breath
Total of 1000 Points.
* Alternatively I can run these as two units of 3, one with Mus, the other with Std and BoEF
So I am not a great fan of shooting (no real suprise as my other Armies are Bretonnians and Orcs & Goblins) so taken the archers for the typical bunker.
Chariots Flanked on either side by the Warsphinx's march (figuratively speaking) up table to eat things. Rinse, repeat, job done.
I have no idea what I am likely to face in the league so want to be as balanced with the list as possible

Warsphinx make excellent anvil units but lack hitting power. In a game this small I would say that you only really need a single Sphinx to pin units while you flank with other elements. To that end I would personally swap a Sphinx out for another hammer-unit. I think a unit of Necropolis Knights would be a good choice.
Similarly I think a unit of 6 Chariots may be overkill at this scale. I would look into either reducing the unit size to 4, or splitting it into 2 separate units of 3.
Any spare points should probably be reinvested into the Archer bunker. As it stands it will endure a turn at most and then your Hierophant is toast.

My record was 4-2-1 with this list. I was very happy with it.

So far I have 3 victories against high elves, wood elves and lizardmen thwy xouldn't cope with the impacts of the chariots (6 strong) and two cruahing defeats against dwarfs and ogres amd a stalemate against Brets.
Next match ups are VC and TK followed by new empire
currently standing 3/8

So what are you liking, what is needing improvement? Is the Level 2 doing enough for you, are the 2 sphinx overkill? Is 10 archers enough? Have you thought about splitting the chariots into 2 groups?

10 archers isn't really enough for the 1k game versus empire i'm thinking of running lvl 2. 2 x15 archers, shinx, 2 scorpions and 2 ssc as the tk shooting has been great with 10 men even without smiting. At the moment i'm buying the models i want to paint and worrying less about gaming
