Subject: Any Ideas for an Adaptation for my Movie making class?

Im in high school and I have a Movie due at the end of next week for my Video Production Class and I haven't even started it. After attempting countless times to come up with ideas I've come to the conclusion that I should leave it up to good 'old dakka for ideas. I was hoping to make it have to do with wargaming some how. So please, bring on the ideas!

it can be any genre I want it to be, and it's supposed to be anywhere between 6 and 10 minutes. I was thinking of doing like a documentary of a wargamer or somthing along those lines.

You should make a traditional sports underdog movie, only about wargaming.
For example, the hero can be a kid who is down on his luck. His dad died or something, and the only he left him was memories of gaming and bunch of British Napoleanic Minis. In memory to his dad, he decides to join a locla gaming group, and bring his army up to specs.
When the kid goes tot eh games club to try to play, his first encounter is with a French player that is a real D-bag. He ridicules the kids army, and is just a twit. Demoralized, the kid starts to leave.
As he is leaving, he runs across an old guy painting some British stuff. The Old Guy convinces him to stay, and starts to mentor the kid in the game.
The kid for fun, signs up for the local tournament. The French dude is the reigning champion, and he tries to intimidate the new kid to not play. The old crusty mentor encourages him.
This leads to the tournament, where their are several close battles with various opponents and army styles. The Old Guy acts as exposition guy, and we see soem key points of the battles as the New Kid progresses up the tourney ranks in a bit of a montage.
This leads to the final showdown between French Twit and the New Kids British. There is a climactic battle, and the New Kid is on the ropes. The French Guy looks liek he is going to win, but the kid digs down deep and pulls out a close win.
The French guy shows himself to be a bad sport, the mentor and the kid hug, the crowd does the lone cheer into adulation, and the kid holds up the trophy and shouts, 'This ones for you DAD!"
Roll credits.

For my english assessment I did a story about khorne wasdefeated and was banished to earth in where they attempted to summon power to re-initiate themselves back into power by making a gory sacrifice, and it worked... I enjoyed writing that story. leaves space for a seaqual

I second this!
The French dude can have Snidely Whiplash facial hair and play Grey Knights. The kid can play Tau for added underdog-ness
