I just got my Warhammer basing kit, and I intend to make good use of the rocks in there for my Eldar army. I noticed that they are covered in resin dust however, and painting on that stuff simply doesn't work. How do I best remove the dust? There probably is a guide, but I didn't find any when I searched.

Warm water with a little soap (not too foamy) and a toothbrush. Rinse again once scrubbed to remove any soap residue (which paint will also not like). After that handle the pieces as little as possible before painting to avoid putting finger grease back on them.
