Well here it is... Pretty much ready to go apart from a few minor details...

Looking down the Tilly-Lingevres Road with Tilly ahead and Saint Pierre in the distance;

The view with Saint Pierre in the foreground in the bend of the River Seulles and Tilly in middle distance;

Looking from the British position south-west of Christot towards Tilly, the Tilly-Bayeaux can be seen in the middle distance;

Looking over the Lemoine farm complex towards Tilly;

German troops direct a supply column through Tilly in the days before the attack;

Nice looking table!

Is the VW bug in the column based on any scene or reference, or just for amusement value?

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

It is a Type 82e German 4 x 2 car, they built 688 during the war and used them for a variety of roles.

Wow. Cause seriously, I would have thought someone took a wrong turn on the way to a high school kegger.

"Billy! That isn't Stephanie's car behind us anymore! I think you took a wrong turn!"

Oh. Looks like according to Wikipedia they were made as 'Kübelwagen chassis with Beetle body'.

Not sure how useful they'd be. Getting in the back of a VW bug was a pain when Iw as little, probably even worse if I was carrying a lot of gear, or an officer trying to appear dignified...
