Hey guys. Trying to make my picture posts better by making the pics bigger. How do I edit them on a pc, or once they are on dakka dakka to make them big enough to really see.

Currently I'm simply uploading them from my camera to my computer. Then uploading from computer to my gallery. Then doing the copy image url and use the nifty image button at the top there. I looked it up in articles and saw the picture enlarging trick with |600px at the end of the image name. However that doesn't seem to be working for me in general posts. Any help would be greatly appreciated, be it ways to do so on the web site. Or a handy program that will let me view my pictures and edit the size they are displayed at.

Thanks much.

Pictures taken on a standard camera should be absolutely huge anyway - then you just upload them straight to Dakka and the site will do the rest.

Dont copy the image url, but instead the code in the "forums" box on the right beolw the image. the chosen size applys only if you do it that way......
