This morning I was searching the app store for good Warmachine damage grid app so I would not have to make cling film card sleeves, again. I came across this little gem. It's called Ibodger that was to be brought out comersially but was not because of copyright reasons.

Basically, what it is is a portable rule index, a list of unit links for Battle College and a Forward Commander style army builder only 'In your pocket' as an IOS spokesperson would say. It seems so obvious now that somebody must have come up with something like this at some point. I hadn't thought of it until now, though.

All I wish is that somebody would make a damage grid one then I will be a very happy bunny.

PS:
@ mod: I hope this is not classed as advertising. I just thought as a combination of it being uncommercial and vaguely handy that I should put it out there.

PPS:
Does anybody know a good app that has replicated damage grids? Thanks for feedback.

Hi Zilegil,

I think most people are aware of ibodger and you're right it's very useful.

In the not too distant future there will be the "War Room" app that has damage grids and rules for cards. The app it's self will be free as I understand it but you will pay per faction you want to have access to.

When it releases there will be a deal to get all the factions for a cheaper fee

We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

Also, iBodger is not going to be supporting any further updates once War Room releases.

Go to PP website to get more details on War Room and its functionality.

Which is sad because I missed one of the last updates apparently as I'm missing the Black Dragon UA in mine. It's also sad because from what we've been hearing so far War Room is not looking to be as good of a list builder as iBodger despite charging you a pretty hefty amount for it as far as apps go while iBodger was free.

iBodger is fine, but not nearly as useful as War Room will be.

Yes, War Room will be useful. Updated cards when the models are released so you don't have to wait for the book to get posted/on the shelves of the FLGS. Errata updated automatically and the actual cards to mark damage on.

But iBodger is a great list building app. It restricts what you can add to the list by points and animosity (try putting Gerlak with Nyss hunters in a cryx army). You can restrict by theme list as well and it shows what you need to get to the next tier. War Room will do none of those things.

War Room has more stuff you can do with it. Brilliant. IBodger does more when you just want to build a list. Superb.

I just wish iBodger was allowed to continue.

The best result would be if War Room fixed these afore mentioned problems.

If this is the view of the world then the designer probably getting some gak on the rating and comments section on the app store and anywhere else that they may get feedback from. That is guessing that they care.

I'm hoping this is the reason for the delay.
