Well after painting little chibis (Super Dungeon Explore) for the last 2 months I needed a change up. I really don't play to much 40k anymore but I still paint some of the minis. While technically this fellow isn't a GW mini, I think we all can see where his inspiration is drawn from. I've owned this model for a while now, but Iv'e been far to busy with other projects plus a move out of state as well. I finally freed up a little time to work on him. This model is called Chaos Master, and is made by Scibor. I'm pretty much still in the basecoating stages of the project but I am making steady progress.

Enough rambling though. Lets take a look.

Stay tuned for more updates. Hope you enjoy.
Jason.

Loving this. Love the smooth reds.

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:

Thanks. Lately I seem to be using red as my base color for a lot of different projects.

Can't help but be reminded of that classic Emperor versus Horus artwork.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Yeah there's a lot of similarities between the Scibor piece, and Horus' armor in the artwork. Maybe he should be named Horgor, or Logus.
