I am developing a list that has 5 tomb blades in and am wondering if anyone has come up with a "tourny legal" build/conversion?

What I'm using and I've seen some other people use are the old metal Necron destroyers, they are official Necron models so I can't see why there would be any problem with using them

I think tournament wise as long as they're a similar size to destroyers they'll be fine

i have used DE Hellions and stole their surfboards, some necron torsoes and and guns. The hellion surfboards are a dream come true for tombblade conversions. you can do two arms with a gun each, mount the guns under it and have a armless torso with head wired into the top......so much fun can be done and easy

Not overly sure on tournament legality but my previous foray into Tomb Blade design was using the Lychguard Shield as a surf board and a converted particle weapon.



Its not perfect, and I got sidetracked by another project before I could actually finish a squad but its easy to make and similar size to what I imagine a GW end product would be. It does however look nothing like tomb blade art >_>

That gun looks like it can penetrate 14 av at 2+ !
