Well got the set starting to paint now...
BUT, the figures are all the same right limited customization and etc.
Looking at the back of the box, I noticed the captain has a sword, I assumed then it was a regular power sword much like the terminators' sarge.

Looking at the starter booklet (and codex) the captain has options stated
-Replace bolt pistol and/or CW with
-boltgun,blah blah blah power sword
-blah
-relic blade

Now the power sword is just worth 10 while the relic blade is 30. Okay so is the sword on the captain a relic blade or power sword? On another note how can you symbolize artificier armour on a model like the AOBR one?

Thanks in advance

In the case of artificer armour im pretty sure you are just meant to make it look really nice to symbolise artificer armour.

Its whatever you want it to be honestly.

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood.

The relic blade is an axe it seems from looking at the codex. The figures in the box set are exclusive to the box and arent really customizable. If you compare the sprues:

When I think relic blade, I think more like a spear. But anyway, a relic blade can be a sword if you want. Artificer Armor generally just has gold trimmings and chapter symbols thrown on everywhere.

This is not as cut and dry as you think. You have free reign to do pretty much whatever you want and say anything is anything you want as long as it doesn't confuse people too much and you model it to look enough like it.

Yes, exactly what he says, and the others above. If you want to call that sword a "relic blade", you're perfectly free to do that. There is a lot of flexibility from a modelling standpoint as long as you don't color too far outside the lines.
