Nick did a sneak peak earlier today showing the first two episodes online (they will officially air April 14th). Anyone manage to catch it? Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the direction they're going. It seems the Avatar world is going through the industrial revolution, and all the social upheaval that comes with it.
Korra is a a great replacement for Aang, and the series hasn't lost its light-hearted tone or its brand of humor. I'm really loving some of the new characters (Tenzin and Bei Fong are boss). A little disappointed that Zuko and Soka have been cloned into the series under new roles, but I'm not gonna complain about it. I have hope that the series will continue the quality that we saw in the Last Airbender, so I'm enthusiastic

I enjoyed it, though only was able to catch the first episode. I think LoH's analysis is spot on.

I don't think that Mako and Bolin are clones of Zuko & Sokka. Give them time, and I think they will develop in different directions.
I loved this so much. ;~; I can't wait for the next episodes.
I was a tad disappointed at how the pro-bending styles of Fire & Ground were so very similar. I enjoyed it as a concept (moving from Traditional Martial Arts to more competative interpretations) but making them so visually similar was a bad move imo.
The rest? Brilliant. I'm loving this series so much already.

I noticed that Pro-bending appears, visually, to be very similar to mixed martial arts (when they're not on the ground giving man hugs that is). The idea itself, and the way it is treated within the Avatar world by the more traditional benders like Tenzin I think plays into this as well as its also similar.
Personally I'm hoping for a spirit world vision where Korra will talk to Aang, but maybe that's just me
I'm looking forward to the direction the story may take with the Equalizers. I'm especially wishing that we may get a second season once the first 26 episodes have aired.
