Yeah those dragons are not going to work in a footdar list. The points can also be spent more efficiently. Footdar is my favorite variant of eldar to play. this is what I run at 1500pts HQ Avatar (155) Eldrad (210) Elites 8 Harlequins- Kisses, Shadowseer (206) Troops 10 Guardians- Scatter Laser (95) 10 Guardians- Scatter Laser (95) 10 Dire Avengers- Exarch , Defend, Shimershield (162) 3 Guardian jet bikes- 66 Heavy Support Wraith Lord- BL, EML (155) Wraith Lord- BL, EML (155) 3 War Walkers- Scatter Lasers (180) its not quite 1500 but this is the core of the list. The first and foremost thing to realize is Footdar are a shooting army. Yes the have some CC specialists but you need to bring some ranged threats. That said I really don't like wraith guard, I've tested them in my list but found the 12" range to be the Achilles heel. When you figure the number of 95pt Scatter Laser guardian squads you could bring for that I can justify such a pricey unit. fusion pistols on harlequins are a waste too. You have numerous close range vehicle threats in the form of MC CC you don't need 6" melta guns that kill all your harlequins when the vehicle explodes. Storm Guardians are also very bad in footdar you want you guardians in cover shooting scatter lasers not in CC dying to fearless wounds. The Avatar fearless bubble works wonders at keeping guardian defender shooting till the last man but just gets stormies killed after they loose combat. I do like the 3 man bike squad for reserve tricks some people don't but I find it to be a very useful tactical tool. All in all you need some more long range shooting and trimming done to the list. Even a fully optimized footdar list needs to have some luck to win that said taking sub par choices or muddling the design strategy will mean defeat most of the time.
