Hey all. So, I'll be starting my army soon and I have a few questions on my airbrush. First, how well does p3 paint go through an airbrush? What do you guys thin it with? Second, my family is freaking out about airbrushing in my room. So is it safe to airbrush inside? I plan on doing it by a window with a box fan blowing air out. They say the carpet will make it more dangerous. Will it? So any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With a window open and a fan going, you're fine to paint with an airbrush using just about anything.
I run a lot of p3 paint through my airbrush and I find that i usually only need to thin it out at a ratio of 1:1.
DON'T use windex or any other ammonia based chemicals to thin your paints unless you've got some REALLY good ventilation. It'll eventually greatly increase the likely-hood of lung infections.
I use a mix of 3 parts matt or airbrush medium to one part of a mix of 9 parts distilled water to 1 part flow-aid to thin my paints. Before using that, I just used pure distilled water.

Thanks, but never would have guessed matt medium went good in an airbrush.

Theres a product from Liquitex called 'Airbrush Medium' That is wonderful for thinning out any acrylic paints without breaking down the surface tension like water does.
Works fine with GW paints, and lots of thicker artist paints I've tryed, I Imagine P3 aswell.

You'll need a bit more than a window and fan. Anything more than 30min of use and you'll be caughing up a lung. A mask is a must for prolonged use.
Distilled water should be fine for thining, UselesswizarD's suggestions would be better. You want a consistancy of semi-skimmed milk, any thicker and you'll start to get clogs.
