I hope this is a good place for this topic!!
I mean after you spend all the time and money to build one and paint it, how do you move it around
and keep it safe? I'd prefer to use foam(Battle foam, Sabol, etc...) for this. I already have 4 various Sabol bags,
so finding something that fits them is a bonus, but not a must. KR's case for around $50 might be alright, depending
on how many it can hold.

And to anyone that owns a Battle foam AIR P.A.C.K., does it hold 4 fliers total?

I appreciate any input.

So not one member owns, stores or transports their Vendetta/Valkyries?

I take the wings off mine (they are magnetised) and store then in a spare GW case with custom cut foam (I have two valkyries).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Would you happen to have any pics of the wings? I have both Vendettas wings detachable, but couldn't decide how to place the magnets the best way.

No pics, but I can tell you how I did it. I'll have to see about getting pics. I need a new memory card for my camera - I got given a 4gb card that it can't use (the camera is 6 years old this year and it has no internal memory of its own - and my phone camera is a vga one).

There are two angled bits on each wing (they jut upwards about 20mm from the leading edge and 25mm from the trailing edge). These are the magnet mounting places. You have to trim the tab that slots into the tail boom to get them in (NOT remove completely). It helps to locate and hold the wing in place.

Each wing has TWO (2) 3mmx3mm cyclindrical REMs in it (Rare Earth magnets - the usual NeFeBo ones). Each wing root (on the tail boom) has a 10mmx1.5mm magnet set into it (5mm would have done the job, but I didn't have any of them). The larger size means precise lining up isn't necessary, as the centre of each field will pull to each other. With 3/5mm you need to have them line up perfectly or the attraction won't be as strong. The holes were drilled starting with a 1mm pilot hole, and then widened with 2mm and 3mm bits. A 1mm hole was also drilled into the cavity on the underside (the magnets are a tight fit, but because of this, it's impossible to glue them in without making a way for air to escape.)

[So little magnets in wings, larger magnets in tail boom.).
Use the tab/slot to line the wings up, and slide until the magnets grab each other. The wings will stay on regardless of how much "Whoosh! zoom! and flying toy aircraft motions and noises you make (takes some vigorous shaking to break the grip - and this is also why the tab is left on the wing - it limits the flapping the wings can do).

A fellow gamer with 6-7 Valkyries and a couple of Vultures had issues with transporting his. After seeing my solution he facepalmed at the obviousness of it (he magnetises all of his vehicles anyway).

I have a battlefoam P.A.C.K. GO and it fits my guard army pretty comfortable, except for my single Vendetta, I just have too many basilisks to be able to fit in a vendetta. My wings don't need magnets, they don't fall out during gaming. I have my Vendetta main body in the front pocket with some random foam I have. Not ideal, but it works for me.

The Battlefoam P.A.C.K. Air fits 4 Valkyries, if you take two of this tray. They do take up all the space for the bigger trays though. You could even put in 2 more if you dedicate the whole bag to Valkyries.

I did run across those, thanks. My major issue with KR is that it comes out to around $50 per Vendetta/Valkyrie.

I've heard enough horror stories about how after a while the wings will get loose enough to not stay put.

I was looking at the P.A.C.K. Air as well. I'm going to try using a Sabol Armored Company bag. I've got a Baneblade and Stormlord, so I purchased the 4" double wide trays.
I'm going to measure them with my Vendettas and see if they might work.

and by the way, check this out:
