I tried to paint strip an assault marine with the stuff I use for metal ones, but it went all puffy. I have previously tried filig back lumpy paint, but it is a bit hit and miss. Is there anything out there that can easily paint-strip plastic miniatures?

Original Dettol.
Soak for about a day, scrub paint off with a toothbrush, rinse with soapy water.
Job's a good'un!
