Alright, so here in the next couple of hours i will be posting two lists, this being the first one. you might have read my other post, but essentially i am trying to work on my and my friends "take all comers lists." I am currently at a crossroads for my army however, and am basically stuck between two lists that are very similar. These lists for my army, Brettonia. As always any advice and CC is appreciated and respected. =D

List 1
Lords = 234
Bretonnian lord with Barded Warhorse, silver lance of the blessed, Gromril great helm, luckstone and shield
Heroes = 417
BSB Paladin with Barded Warhorse, dawnstone, enchanted shield and relic sword
Lvl 2 damsel with Barded Warhorse, silver mirror
Lvl 2 damsel with Barded Warhorse, dispel scroll

9 Knights of the realm with full command x 3

Lvl 4 Prophetess with Barded warhorse and book of ashur

BSB Paladin with Barded Warhorse, dawnstone and enchanted shield
4 Paladins with Barded warhorses, shields and lances

basic idea is to deploy as evenly as possible, warmachines spread out, sort of like this

in the first list, the damsels bunker in two Kotr units and spam wyssans wildform. Lord goes in whatever unit will need him most, BSB tries to stay in a central knight unit. M@A buses and trebuchets provide support as needed.
In the second list, the paladins and prophetess jump into the three knight units as evenly as needed, with the goal of popping of Savage beast of horros once in combat. M@A buses and trebuchet provide support as needed.

both with your plan look decent tbh... i prefer a lord as my lord choice... however the damsel is more viable atm... in list 1 you can only have 2 trebs (just 2 duplicate in rare choices) so maybe fill those points with a naked paladin to beast of horros? i think your best bet is list 1 with a proph as your lord. drop a damsel and add more knights... you dont need as many characyers as you used too. just think... fir lretgy much every character you drop youve got an extra knight unit...

so, something like this?

This setup leaves me with 172 points. i could sink these points into another unit of Knights of the realm, for a grand total of 36 knights, not counting characters. this would enable me to get off some more flank charges, as i should be able to outmaneuver my opponent. Question is would a unit of questing knights be better though? Or should i drop 2 more paladins into the list and kit them out a bit? the questing knights would add a bit of uummph to my combat, but would have to be protected because it would be a smaller unit. The paladins could fill a similar role, hiding amongst the KotR and hopefully shredding face.
if i removed the book of ashur off the prophetess and threw that towards the questing knights, the list would look more like this...

the questing knights would give me a way to deal with tougher enemies, and could make a good counter-charge unit. With a few exceptions, the KotR can weather being charged, at which point the questing knights counter charge the offending unit, if the M@A have failed to do their part that is.

that newest list looks the best man. personally i favour kotr over questing knights... but if youll use them for say monster ogres etc... then go for it. maybe drop a block of men at arms for some flaming archers and a paladin with an ogre blade in either a kotr unit or the grail knights to help against bigger grizlys or... drop the level 2 for it
