I'm not sure how to ask this question without posting the rules but the new Errata for the Eldar codex says that Runes of Warding now make enemy Psykers roll an extra dice for Psychic tests. So because of the way it reads now I could take two Farseers with Runes of Warding and the enemy Psykers would have to roll 4d6 for psychic tests?

Is this right?

And if not, why not?

"Khorne is a noble warrior who respects strength and bravery, who takes no joy in destroying the weak, and considers the helpless unworthy of his wrath. It is said that fate will spare any brave warrior who calls upon Khorne's name and pledges his soul to the blood god. It is also said that Khorne's daemons will hunt down and destroy any warrior who betrays his honour by killing a helpless innocent or murdering in cold blood..."

You didn't used to be able to...but with the new wording as RAW...yes, you can. Precedence for it is in the same codex...See Autarchs ability to stack +1 or 2 to reserve rolls.

Essentially.

No one person is currently right, and until GW feel that we've suffered enough apoplexies and burst blood vessels to warrant clarifiying the issue it's unlikely that we'll get an answer.

Pick a side, argue it, agree that it's too vague to tell when people disagree, then roll a D6 on it or choose the least advantageous option.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I still think that it was written as an extra D6 to allow it to stack with other rules and powers that force an extra D6 rather then with itself.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

It's RAW currently, and I don't have anything against it personally: Especially when I'm playing BA or GK >

It clearly stacks with itself by a strict RAW reading.

Was it meant to stack with itself?
On one hand, that completely changes the functionality of the rule, and it seems unlikely that GW would sneak that in just as a FAQ. On the other hand, it does act as a fairly strong counter to GK, which is something the metagame needs.

So, at the moment, I'd say you're free to use it against GK. But, against anyone else, I think it's a bit too powerful.
