Hi, if the Changeling had died previously, would he be returned to play if you cast Regrowth on the unit he was in?

If the changing is a special character now. I cant remember the book but if he actually is part of the unit say replaces the champion then regrowth specifically states the champ is rezzed first

He's a SC. But he becomes the unit champ.

The Changeling, though a Special Character, is a unit champion in all respects.
