Currently I have 1250 which consists of:

Overlord w/ scythe, res orb, mindshackles
5 Lychguard w/ scythes
Ctan Shard w/ worldscape and pyreshards
2 x 12 Warriors w/ 1 harbinger of destruction
10 Immortals w/ tesla
10 scarabs

The basic idea is to form a firebase with the warrior squads and immortals, covered by the lychguard and overlord. The Ctan and scarabs tend to advance at the enemy as quickly as possible.

This is my plan for 1500. Overlord goes with the Lychguard and usually deploy behind the warriors and immortals acting as a counter-assault unit. Deathmarks will generally be used from reserve. Spyder is there due to a regular opponent starting SW so some psychic protection could be helpful.

11 Warriors w/ harbinger of destruction
11 Warriors w/ harbinger of destruction
10 Immortals w/ tesla & harbinger of transmogrification w/ crucible

(Im pretty certain everyone will say to drop the lychguard, I'd like to keep them in as they work well for me. Same goes for the deathmarks, I put them in because I'm keen to try them and like the models.)

Drop the Lych... Oh wait nvm then lol jk

I have had great luck with my Deathmarks so far so I am not sure why everyone doesn't likw them, oh well

A few notes:
10 Scarabs together is overkill, most of the time only 5 is needed. You could run two squads of 5 and go after more than 1 vehicle at a time.

A lone spider by itself is very easy to kill, try fitting room for more than 1 in a squad.
