For annihilation purposes and kill points does a whole platoon count as 1 kill point or its individual squads... So do I need to kill like 3 or 4 squads to get one kill point?

Every unit/squad in the game counts a kill point.

Infantry platoons only count as a single unit for the purposes of force organisation and deployment.

So KP for each unit. A combined unit will also only give 1 KP.

If it is combined it is one kp. Seperate, then each squad, heavy weapon squad, ect counts.
Of course in most kp games it should be combined...

You can only combine Infantry squads, so at minimum a platoon is 2KP - 1 for the PCS, one for the blobbed Infantry squads. You can never blob SWS or HWS or the PCS

I was totally ripped off. I played a guard guy and we played ann and I killed like 3 squads and he said that didnt count because I didnt kill the last 2 lol. O wells.

It is entirely possible he was mistaken; people get this rule wrong surprisingly often.
