Are you noticing all of the WH40k references? The armorer named Ferrus is one of a handful I've found so far. While we're at it, has anyone noticed the references in Game of Thrones? There's an episode actually called The Wolf and the Lion. There are more subtle ones throughout as well, I just can't seem to remember them at the moment.

Ferrus means iron. 40k didn't invent that.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

Wolf and lion are normal heraldic animals, also.
The wolf and wolfhead have been used for centuries - dating back to the roman days.

GW, GRRM and Lucas do NOT have exclusive claim to any of them.

Cool. Did Lando even shoot a blaster in the movies?

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

A colt 45 yes, blaster no.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

40K steals borrows many things from other continuities, it's not strange to see resemblance to 40k in other Sci-fi universes.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

Nothing needs more Angry Marines references.

PS: If you want 40k similarities, read Dune. The amount of language, themes, and imagery that GW took from that book for 40k is startling.

He did, he was shooting storm troopers when they were boarding the Millenium Falcon at the end of Empire Strikes Back.
