I am sooooo mad right now! I just got back from my FLGS and i bought some bleached bone paint. I was really excited since i had a few models that needed that bone colour. When i tried painting it, SO RUNNY! It was like a wash! LITERALLY it just ruined a heck lot of detail on my skull emblems that i just got
I need help quick on thickening these paints with ANYthing. Thanks for help if you post

I assume you gave the paint a good and thorough shake before trying to use it?
The pigments might have seperated from the solution and settled to the ground.

Would be my guess too - take a toothpick and stir the paint thoroughly - then close the lid and shake the bottle hard - if the problem still persists, you may have a bad batch of paint.
Cheers,

Hm, were there clumps on your paint? Bought the same bleached bone paint en masse from NG Glorietta a few months back since my army is mostly in that color. Just shake/mix it well. If it's already solid in parts, that would be harder. Maybe it's old stock: I've bought paints in NG and sometimes they are runny. I fix it by adding some Reeves Acrylic Medium and mixing with a toothpick.

I'd go outside, grab a small pebble, wash it off good and proper, and drop that in the pot. It'll act as a paint agitator for when you shake it. When the pigment settles in the edges of the paint pot, shaking it sometimes doesn't get it out of there. A little help is required in this case, which either a toothpick or a paint agitator will help with.
Good luck. Never had an issue with paint that shaking couldn't handle.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one? |
