At least thats the running title for now. Things might change, I got this army because of the cool models, not because I had some great background worked up.

Razorwing 1 (razorwing 2 has yet to be purchased)

Ravager

Automatically Appended Next Post:
cont.

Venom 1 (venoms 2-4 have yet to be painted)

Reavers (the main reason I got a DE army, just too cool)

Arena Champion with power weapon

Very refreshing colour scheme and very well executed paint job - great work.

Are you planning on buying any coven models? Will they adhere to the same scheme or will you be doing them any different?

I have ten wyches (not painted) that have a raider (not assembled). I also have a Succubus HQ (finecrap that is requiring a lot of cleaning).

However, I have not decided if I'm going to follow the same color scheme with them or not. If it does change though I want to keep some simularities (probably the purple) to help tie the whole army together. I'm somewhat thinking base black with purple highlights (where the warriors are purple with red highlights). The weapons/power cores will be the same color scheme.

Apologies, I meant Haemonculi Coven models - my bad!

Sounds very cool indeed for your Wyches, I can imagine your probs with the Succubus, it's quite a flimsy model and I'm quite thankful I got mine before the Finecast switch.

Do you airbrush the base coats of all your models? You have attained a very nice finish particularly on your vehicles.

Will be sure to keep checking in to see how your going - keep up the good work!

Great Pictures! The background has definately helped to highlight your bright and interesting Colour scheme. As far as wyches go, I totally support a new colour scheme just for the fun of the hobby.

At the moment the list is only 1500 pts. If I expand it to 1850 or 2000 I'll be adding in some Incubi with a hammi HQ in a raider and maybe a unit of Wracks with a hammi HQ in a raider. Because I feel that having another dedicated HTH unit wouln't be a bad thing, however those are for the somewhat distant future. There is also a unit of blasterborn that haven't been assembled because I'm still trying to figure out how to give them blasters and make them distinctive from the normal warrior squads.

As for painting, its all done with a brush except for the primer coat.

Finished up the first five witches. I wanted a color scheme that was different than the warriors, but sill looked like it all goes together. I really didn't want to go with the white skin, but truthfully with that color scheme, anything other than white (that would still look humanoid xenos) just didn't work with the darker clothing.

I'm not unhappy with the results, I just don't feel that they turned out overly original.

looks good. My friend plays DE for over a decade and still doesn't have it all painted. Nice to see a uniform fully painted army on the board.
