For those like me who have been dying for a good DE novel, I found this little gem by Andy Chambers whilst browsing the BL. It came out last month. This is the first book in an upcoming trilogy, similar to Gav's Eldar series.

The Story

Excelent read! Read the whole thing while my wife was in labor.

Portrays the DE very much how I imagined them...especially the Incubi.

Always refreshing to have non-Space Marine/Imperial novels from BL. Very interested in this since Path of the Warrior was good.

It doesn't have any connection to the earlier 2 eldar books right? i was also thinking of picking this up a few days ago.

It is a separate series.

Initially I wanted to read the Eldar books because I thought it was the closest thing to a DE series I'd see for a long time... Then I saw this! No need to read the Eldar books after all, though I might anyway because it's probably a good trilogy. I won't read SM books. I've read a couple and they're just awful.
