For those like me who have been dying for a good DE novel, I found this little gem by Andy Chambers whilst browsing the BL. It came out last month. This is the first book in an upcoming trilogy, similar to Gav's Eldar series.
(I'd post the cover if I knew how. You'll have to click the link to see it.)

The Story

For millennia, Asdrubael Vect has ruled the dark city of Commorragh, crushing any who dare to cross him. His reach is long and his position unassailable... or so he thinks. Yllithian, an ambitious archon with the desire to unseat the tyrant, joins forces with a twisted haemonculus in an attempt to revive a long-dead warrior and challenge the might of the overlord, both racing to achieve their goal before Vect discovers their treachery. But a cataclysm is coming, and Yllithian’s actions may in fact be the cause...
About the book

Andy Chambers returns to the Black Library with the first novel in a new dark eldar trilogy, exploring the dark kin and their ominous city in unprecedented detail.

"Masterful stuff. The city of Commorragh comes to seething, malignant life in this triumphant celebration of Dark Eldar lore. Scheming archons ally with sensual Succubi and sinister Haemonculi in a jagged web of paranoia and bloodletting so compelling I was caught in its hooks from the start. This book is as rich, complex and black-hearted as the connoisseurs of pain that haunt its pages – faint-hearted readers beware!" - Phil Kelly, author of Codex: Dark Eldar

I AM A MARINE PLAYER

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

Excelent read! Read the whole thing while my wife was in labor.

Portrays the DE very much how I imagined them...especially the Incubi.

Know thy self. Everything follows this.

Always refreshing to have non-Space Marine/Imperial novels from BL. Very interested in this since Path of the Warrior was good.

It doesn't have any connection to the earlier 2 eldar books right? i was also thinking of picking this up a few days ago.

It is a separate series.

Initially I wanted to read the Eldar books because I thought it was the closest thing to a DE series I'd see for a long time... Then I saw this! No need to read the Eldar books after all, though I might anyway because it's probably a good trilogy. I won't read SM books. I've read a couple and they're just awful.
