Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I came to the hobby 6 months ago in my 30s, much to my wife's delight. I'm painting my way through aobr at the moment and am trying not to break under the strain of painting the boyz. I'm trying to paint each one as well as possible so don't use any speed painting techniques. I also have a sm battleforce and a box of kans to do, so will be painting the stuff I got well into next year considering how slow I am. The plan is to eventually end up with fully functional and painted ork and sm armies.

I've also been messing about with magnets and have magnetized the arms on my kans as well as a squad of sm scouts.

I hate scouts and personally feel that they should always be led by a chaplain with a jump-pack to teach them how to remain stealthy while walking around with a man with a jet engine on his back who is constantly reciting battle litanies in a booming voice.

Thanks for all the welcome messages. Regarding the weekend my armies are nowhere near finished enough to come along. I am such a noob anyway, that I'd just embarass myself. Once my orks are painted I'll give you a pm about meeting up, but since I'm incredibly slow and quite busy at work at the mo I may be some time.
