My problem is that only about half the comments I drop are listed there..... wich bugs me since I often ask questions but can't find the image again because the question is missing in that list. And I sometimes forget about the question after a week or so and never know I got an answer.

Does anyone have an idea why it only lists half my comments?

And could you maybe install a complete list of all the comments a user has made in the gallery, Lego? Maybe even a comment-count next to the vote-count? That'd be awesome!

This has been an ongoing problem. I believe Lego has stated before that this will be part of a future and quite extensive update to the Gallery system which is under construction.

If i am incorrect in saying that i'm sure someone will step in and tell you but i'm pretty sure Lego has said something along those lines in a previous post.

Yup correct, it was kind of bolted on in the early days, but a more in depth comment management system is in planning for the gallery. It will come eventually.

The slowness of upgrades in the gallery btw, is because it is the vast majority of bandwidth and database load on the site, so I have to test quite extensively and tread very carefully to avoid crippling dakka with a bad update there. Pretty much everything links in to everything else in the gallery as well which makes it incredibly delicate to do a lot of stuff (due to heavy caching).

Very understandable. To say i'm amazed at what you manage to accomplish is a vast understatement.
