Lost in my disturbing mind...

Hello again, Dakka Dakka!
I have a inquirery: I have heard SWTOR(Star Wars: The Old Republic) has failed to live up to the hype and the servers are bad and there's problems here and problems there and it's glitchy, ect.
So I wonder, at least a few dozen here probably play SWTOR, is it that bad?

I've played an hour or so, it didn't seem that bad.

Also, SWTOR general thread.

P.S. My specs are as follows:
Windows 7
Model: HP Pavilion g6 notebook PC
Processor: AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.40 GHz
Installed Memory(RAM): 6.00 GB (5.48gb usable)
system type: 64-bit operating system

Are those good for minimal requirements?

I'd say it's worth leveling a character to 50 once or twice, but sticking around for the endgame? Nah.

I would say that depends on if you like WoW. I played until about level 12 during the last free weekend and I found it to be a highly derivative experience that failed to hold my attention. I even found the dialogue trees to be tiresome to the extent that I ended up skipping most of them.

If you like generic MMO gameplay then you may well enjoy it but don't expect anything particularly innovative or surprising.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Agreed on that point, not to mention, personally? I found GW to be really fething boring and slow paced to the extreme. I dont think I found anything exciting in that game at all. So I dont have high hopes for GW2 either.

I've enjoyed playing through the storylines, but my computer
only barely tolerates it, so my gameplay has dropped off.

Yeah, the stories are well done; and if you can find a buddy to level through with you it is a fun experience. But I didn't hang around for more than a month or two.
