Quick question:

Can Cluster Caltrops be used against vehicles?

Some friends of mine at my local store said it was FAQ'd that you can use them on vehicles but I checked the most current Dark Eldar FAQ (1.2 released in January of this year) and it makes no reference that Bladevanes/Cluster Caltrops can target vehicles. It only mentions Reavers twice, on the first page and second page and it actually reitirates the fact that Bladevanes can only target non-vehicle units:

"Q: How do you mark the start and end points of a unit
of unit of Reavers move when they are using their
special Bladevanes attack? (p29)
A: Should confusion arise, simply pick any model in the
unit as the start point and mark that spot. Then move
the unit and pick any model as the end point. One
unengaged, non-vehicle unit under the line between
the two markers can then be chosen to be the target of
the attack."

In the codex it says that cluster caltrops inflict D6 S6 AP- hits WITH ITS BLADEVANES, inferring to me that it only hits non-vehicle still, correct?

Hopefully I'm not crazy or something...

Seems quite non-vehicle to me too as vehicles aren't mentioned. People often claim the strangest things when they trust what a store employee or long-time player tells them.

By every reading of the actual rule, it impacts non-vehicles only.
