I'm interested to see how the colossals stack up against an army of the same size without a colossal. So, say this is 18 points. Play an 18 point game with the kraken (+WJ Points from caster of course) against 18 points of whatever the other army is. I understand that isn't the point and it would probably lose, but it would be interesting to see how it did in that scenario.
So we see a little deeper into what they can do. The Cryx one eats you to generate focus, the Cygnar one has those Storm Pods. I can't wait to get the full rules for these things.
I'm really, really trying to talk myself into getting one of the colossals. I just don't know that I can do it. I mean, I still haven't even bought any of the siege engines.
Battle engines weren't that great anyway, so no worries there. The only problem I see with the colossals is their "colossal" point cost. I get that they're obviously intended for larger games but when I think of how much other stuff I can take for 18-20 points...they just really better be *that* good on the field.
That being said, I *am* getting the Kraken and probably whatever the Legion equivalent will be.

I like how it looks like a new cryx warjack with guns instead of just a new type of punchy weapon.
Or maybe I like wrong things with tentacles.
On others! I meant on others!

I was just noting the dichotomy of Dakka.
Besides, I'd rather post under your protective wings Mal.
Three socks.
Or maybe just the third one.
