Do you currently have any other Imperial titans? Plans for future expansions with Forgeworld kits or scratchbuilds? If so, would keeping the "pattern family" consistent matter to you?
The compound curves of the Mars pattern are more difficult for the DIY modeler to faithfully replicate, which make it more attractive if variety is sought and less attractive if you want aesthetic homogeneity with DIY-able superheavies/titans.
Beyond that, it's really just personal preference. I've always loved the look of the Mars pattern, but since scratchbuilding is the only way I'll ever have a Warhound, it will be a Lucius pattern.

Looking at all the dreadnoughts and tanks and even my warlord titan, I gotta say the lucus pattern warhound works best. Its just a little more in keeping with the chunky boxy look of the imperium. Oh, and did I mention I have a warlord class titan? because I also have a warlord class titan, and I would appreciate some feedback on it since I just finished it recently. [/shameless self plug]

Has there been anyone who combined two patterns together to form a hybrid titan?

It wouldn't look very good to be honest. Also, I don't think the Mars pattern is compatible with the others.

OK, thanks guys, I think I will probably get a Mars pattern, as i may later get a reaver, and as you can only get Mars pattern ones of those , for continuity's sake I'll get a Mars, but of course there is always time to change my mind.
Thanks
