The demon codex is intreuging, the flamers look alright but with the deep striking rules it's a risk getting them close enough to use their flamers the turn they deepstrike, and they look like they get shot up easily.
Demon Prince with MOT and wings looks tempting, a couple of them would be pretty useful.
What about HQs? Fateweaver seems expensive for my point range (~1500), would I be okay with Keeper of Secrets?
Help appreciated.

Honestly to run a straight Tzeentch list, you really need those DPs with Wings and MoT. They hit so dang hard and draw a lot of fire so you can get close with those flamers and screamers. Other than that you just have to horde as hard as you can.

I run a mixed list of Tzeentch and Nurgle, so heres the experience I had with some of the units ...

Herald: I run them with the chariot, we are legion, master of sorcery and bolt.

With the 5 wounds, the speed and the ability to target two units those really annoy the hell out of your opponents! The fact that you can get two into one HQ slot is another plus!

Horrors: I have em in squads of 5 with bolt! That helps split up fire and not waste a huge amount of shots on tanks in case I really need to bolt something!

Flamers: As you mentioned, the deepstrike can really screw you. I have em in squads of 3 so in case it does turn out to be a suicide I wont get screwed too hard! Those flamers are deadly as hell though!

I havent tried DPs yet, I do have 3 grinders though! I love those things! One is a target, three are a threat. The one I modelled to be Tzeentch-grinder sucks in close combat though

That's pretty helpful Flachzange.
With Soul Grinders how much should I upgrade? I feel that for 13/13/10 armour and their low points cost (125?) they're a steal, but the ability for them to deal with MEQ *and* enemy armour is pretty nifty.

Personally, I run them with Phlegm. Tongue just doesnt convince me. The grinder has BS3 to begin with, so you may not even hit with it half the time. With an upgrade thats 25 pts. thats just not good enough!

Like I mentioned, I run tzeralds on chariot as well as the horrors with bolt. So I try to get my anti-tank that way.

In the end, it really comes down to your own style and preferences though! If you have a close group of players you may want to play around with some different options, running proxies etc. to get a feel for what the different choices can do and how theyre working for you personally!
