Firstly, I have never dabbled in Green Stuff/putty. I'm wanting to patch up some gaps in my AoBR dreadnought - the joins on the top in particular, but also on the powerclaw, as well as some more minor gaps in some individual models, between arm joints etc. Is liquid Green Stuff a good choice for this, or should I go for the putty?

If they are small and just cracks you want to smooth out I would go with liquid GS. If they are really any bigger than small cracks you would probably want to go with regular GS.

If you are talking about the top of the dread where the two armor plates come together in a W shape, that joint is supposed to be there. Anything g else can be filled with liquid greenstuff just fine.

Yes, GS works very well for patching up gaps. That's what it was originally created for (a type of caulking).

I've heard things about the new liquid GS for gap filling, but I personally would probably just get the regular stuff. The more experience you have with GS, the more you're going to have options for converting later on.
