Many may be to young to remember that era, but persons like Jack Tramiel brought the computer into our homes.
Now, we face another loss and slowly the pioneers are leaving us.

I've grown up with greyish boxes like the C-64. And I am thankful that I had the chance to see the technology on its first steps from offices and
"real" use towards a mass market . I wouldn't want to miss the experience of independent and creative use of computers, instead of the streamlined one anyone has to be part of nowadays. So farewell, JT.

Jack also bought the failing Atari and made it back into a powerhouse company. He's a man who loved computing, and spent his life dedicated to it.
