Hello!
I would like to invite all to visit our blog (http://www.minion-studio.com) devoted to painting, sculpting and tournaments. The website also includes galleries of miniatures painted by our minions and a description of the service of painting an army or individual minis. Even though we are only beginning, we have lots of ideas, some interesting projects concerning sculpture and painting are now in preparation.
In the future, on our blog you can find tutorials about painting, WIP progress pictures from our sculptors, battle reports, reviews of new products and coverage from the tournaments. Our small studio is located in Poland and our blog can be red in five languages - English, Spanish,
French, Italian and Polish.
Once again, you are cordially invited!

Here is sample of our work:

where am I? *looks around* Well i'm...errr...I...I...don't know!

I love the tyranids. The effect on the carapace is wonderful, looks like a bone structure. Fantastic.
I don;t like the stuff coming out of the hive tyrant's back chimneys (for want of a better word) they look like grapes.
Finally the fists...Not my cup of tea. I like my CF to be darker and slightly more brooding, making the red more of a focal point (brighter) but if that is what the client requested then he can be proud as technically they are painted very well indeed (from a purely technique critical point of view).

Love the lava, love the Tyranids, on the fence about the Marines... but I've never liked the Crimson Fists much anyway.

Overall fantastic job, be awesome to see your guard project pitted against your Tyranids! (In lava terrain mesayperhaps?!)

Dipping technique + little highlight = max 1 hour of work. But tbh it lacks few details and precision

Very nice love the anubis-style helmets. But why green?

Eldrad wrote:As the commisionee I can explain the green. I like green For a more fluffy explanation. The coven hates what the Rubric did to them and so marked their Rubric marines with Green until the time comes that they can be remade as true Thousand Sons, and so thats why the sorceror has his true colors.

On a business note I must say that I am very happy with the amount of feedback abd understanding the Minion team showed while doing this project. Once the Chaos codex comes out I will definitely be using them for the rest of the army.
