Reading the boog but have a few moneter attack queries
1. Thinking of fielding a Warpfire Dragon in my Lizzie army and unsure about it's breath attack rule... *Warpfire blast : this is a shooting attack not a standard breath weapon attack* does this mean i can use it every round of combat (like a salamander breath attack) ?
2. Carmine Dragon - Coruscating Blast : unsure how to implement this i think you use the flame template then use the artillery dise and move the flame template in the direction of the dice, hitting everything underneath it. am i correct in this?

Sure -
The rule states *The breath weapon works similarly to a cannonball attack (maximum target point range 12" *, the monster may be targeted using normal breath weapon template, then roll artillery dice to create line of effect travelling in a line from the dragon.
not sure how to ilmpement this... what i think is... use the flame temolate as normal, then if it hits your target, roll artillery dice and move the flame template in that direction hiting all underneath, but i could be wrong

No, its like a cannonball. Pick a point within 12" and roll "bounce" - anything under the line is hit, at the end lpace the flame template. Thats how i read it anyway.

I hope your not using the salamander breath fire as close combat attack

You basically fire it as Nos described. Bounce as for a cannonball, and at the end place the flame template. Everything under the line and template get hit.
Pretty nasty actually.
What happens if you roll a Misfire? Is it just counted as 0"?

I would say yes, unless there's a special thing saying if you roll a misfire your dragon suffers D3 wounds and turns into a Crispy Chicken (TM).

i think it works like a flame cannon, pick a point, roll artillery dice, at the new point place the flame template. And everything under the template gets hit.
A spout of flame doesn't bounce so things between the first point and the final point (bounce area) do not get hit.

Having finally gotten hold of my copy, I'm not sure it uses the flame template at all
There is, unlike a WLC, no mention of placing the template at the end of the "bounce", which suggests it is exactly like a cannon - pick a spot and "bounce" an artillery dice, nothing more or less than that
