For ages now, ever since i got into the hobby really, i've wanted to do my own SM army, which i believe is true for anyone who gets into 40k, and for me it was always going to be the Sons of Sovereign, a plasma obsessed chapter with white power armour and green trim, with a Fleur de Lys chapter badge.
However, after trying to do the chapter, i found the white finish of them was truly... terrible.
Now though, with the new paint range just released, i feel more confident in my ability to paint their white armour.

This is the proposed scheme




So this blog is just here to document my own experiences with both the new paint range, and painting white.
Any advice or tips on painting white would also be very VERY appreciated

I'm using the standard SM codex, i feel its been neglected and overlooked for the BA and SW. I've just painted a ceramite white coat onto one of my older marines and tbh its come out a lot better then a skull white coat would've

It really wasn't too bad, i was really surprised with the speed i managed to get it all together. I built a Valkyrie years ago and was really disappointed with the interior of the cockpit and the pilots, but this was absolutely fine
