After coming across this model;
http://www.40kimperialguard.co.uk/2011/imperial-guard-dog-handler-vet-conversion/
i wanted to create a similar model of my own. The author linked to the page where he bought it, but it appears the item is no longer available.
So i have been searching the web for more than 2 hour trying to find a substitute for the dog used, but they are either wrong size or an ugle dograce, like this bastard
http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/dog/latest/14208#detail/IG_281_1
I would preffer to have a Schaeffer dog, but any suggestions are welcome. Of course i would preffer a bitshop 'cause i only need the dog, but if a cheap kit is available it might do.

Thanks in advance
Edit:
A Schaffer is a German Shepherd dog for those wondering

I also thought of trying to making a commissar who had a dog that looked similar to that but didnt end up working out. There is a model though that I've seen that maybe close to what your thinking.

Cheers for the link, I've never seen Reaper models before, now if only I can find a small beagle model, that would fit my own fluff perfectly!

Copplestone castings do 15mm scale 'giant' wolves that are almost perfect scale for regular larger dogs at 28mm. Might not be exactly what you're after, but I really like them - here's one used to create a dog handler for necromunda if you're interested:

I just recieved this model this morning (just the doberman):

and I can vouch for its coolness. Only £2 too (http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=437_660&products_id=3004)

I also bought that sixteen pack of 15mm wolves that Scarper recommended and though they're not quite as large as I'd prefer, they're pretty nifty too.
